National White Chocolate Cheesecake Day

Today, March 6th, is National White Chocolate Cheesecake Day. Today is the day to treat yourself to a generous helping of a slice of cheesecake, drizzled with just the right amount of white chocolate sauce.

You may consider swinging by a bakery during your lunch hour or on the way home from work. Pick up a slide (or two) of this treat as a nice pick-me-up for the week. Perhaps you have the perfect recipe. Create this indulgent treat and relish each bite, while sharing your creation with people you care about in your life.

It really doesn’t matter if you buy or bake this dessert. In fact, you may prefer something different. There’s dark chocolate vs milk chocolate. Do not forget the various combinations of berries you can toss into the batch. The possibilities for the perfect cheesecake slice are endless.

Whether you treat this day with your own dessert favorite, or you take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a slice of the very dessert remembered on this holiday, what’s important is you treat yourself to a little reward. Reward yourself for facing each day, ready for the challenges that lie ahead. Reward yourself for finishing up a project at work or getting through a presentation at a department meeting. Reward yourself for finishing up the laundry or cleaning the dishes. Whatever small accomplishment you made this week, treat yourself.

We will celebrate with a big feast for the significant accomplishments. Sometimes, though, we have to remind ourselves it is okay to celebrate the smaller accomplishments as well, even with a small slice of cheesecake.
